Does Chase hold your mortgage? Have you have applied for a loan modification but were turned down? If this is the case you may need to reapply. Some loan modifications were turned down because the homeowners hardships were not considered "permanent". So far Chase seems to be the only one guilty of this practice but if your bank denied you for this reason then read on.

Does this mean you'll be accepted if you were previously denied? Not necessarily but they are no longer allowed to use temoroary hardship to deny your request.
If you have been denied for this reason you should call 1-888-995-HOPE and speak to a housing counselor.
